What are the house numbers made of?

They are made of a super tough, 1/4" thick laminated plastic composite. They are lightweight, but durable and UV safe. The silver numbers have a clear coated brushed aluminum facing. We've carefully chosen materials that will look great for a long time.Please be aware that our sizes are nominal - the sizing of each letter within a font can vary by 1/4" or more, with zeros usually being the largest.

How do you install them?

They include an industrial strength, exterior rated peel and stick adhesive backing. The tape is rated for a temperature range of -40 to -95C (-40 to 200F), so it is very weather resistant. In fact, at the very lowest temperature, the only danger is that the adhesive could shatter if hit. The same tape is even used on skyscrapers in Dubai, and in the manufacture of underwater camera cases. No drilling required!Click here for more information about the adhesive. They will stick to brick and stucco, provided it's relatively flat. If you want to install our numbers on rockwork or very uneven stucco or brick, read below about our stand-off kits.

Tell me about your stand-off kits.

If you would like to order stand offs instead of adhesive, the stand-off kit costs an additional $5 per number. It consists of a stud that screws into the back of the number or letter, installation instructions, and templates to help you position the numbers before drilling the holes for them. The stand-offs ship with half-inch spacers.

How much is shipping?

Shipping depends on the size the order, but it starts at $15.99 and maxes out at $24.99.

Can I get lowercase letters or a special font?

Sure. We can do almost anything. Just contact us with the details and we will get back to you with a quote, usually within 24 hours.

Who are you guys, anyways?

Numbermyhouse was started by two brothers from Calgary, Alberta Canada, and is now run from Vancouver, BC. Numbermyhouse loves good design, good fonts, and the Maker movement. If you have any good stories, drop us a line.

How soon do you ship?

Every single order we get is custom cut. Why? Because we have many different fonts, colors and sizes. In fact, there are almost nine thousand different possible combinations! Please be aware that because of the custom nature of each order, they can take as long as 4 weeks to fill. If you really need your orders sooner, contact us and we can expedite your order for a fee.

How can I find out about my order?

The best way is to contact us by email. We try our best to answer emails, and questions posted to the contact form in 24 - 28 hours. You can also call us and leave a message, and we will try to return your call or email you in 24 - 48 hours.

When will I be charged for my order?

You will be charged as soon as you place your order.
